Caring Honesty Respect Responsibility Algona Family YMCA Care packs program successful again this year! The Algona Family YMCA had another great year distributing book bags full of the appropriate schools supplies for some families in need in the Kossuth County area. This years success was due in part to the tremendous help of the Algona Rotary Club. Many Rotary businesses and individuals supplied specific school supplies as well as cash donations. The YMCA was able to give out a total of 120 book bags for the 2007-2008 school year. Thanks to the Rotary club and the YMCA Partners with youth Campaign the YMCA was able to collect supplies and raise money to fund this program. A big thank you to all that helped this year. Monetary donations are accepted year round, if interested in donating contact Julie at the Algona Family YMCA at 295-7701. YMCA CHILDCARE! We are still taking registrations for YMCA Childcare!
