KCEDC Ag Hall of Fame Guidelines Released

The Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation will be distributing the Ag Hall of Fame nomination criteria and forms. This is the Fifth year for the Ag Hall of Fame Awards. This award will be chosen from nominations throughout the county. Criteria for judging the nominations include: leadership, land stewardship, community service, and services to the Ag industry/profession.

You’ll be able to obtain the Kossuth County Ag Hall of Fame nomination criteria and forms from banks, elevators, implement dealers, and city halls throughout the county, Algona Chamber of Commerce and Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation offices.

The Youth Ag Recognition Award has been distributed to all FFA Instructors/Principals. They must be nominated based on their efforts for working on a farm related FFA project and must be a Kossuth County resident. Anyone wishing to submit a Youth Ag Recognition candidate may come to the KCEDC office to pick up the criteria sheet.

Both award recipients will be announced at the KCEDC’s County Wide Breakfast.

Those serving on the KCEDC Ag Public Affairs/Ag Hall of Fame Committee are: Tom Eischen, Merrill Bormann, Alan Witt, Creighton Nelson, Dennis Rucker, Bob Behnkendorf and Clarence McGregor.
