K/PACEDC Golf Outing Held at North Kossuth Golf Club

The Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation held its annual Intern Golf Outing at the North Kossuth Golf Club on June 16th.

Many businesses in both Kossuth and Palo Alto counties contributed toward covering the interns’ green fees, meals and cart rentals by donating funds along with also donating promotional items for gifts. Bancroft businesses made sure our interns enjoyed their golf outing at the North Kossuth Golf Club. K/PACEDC appreciates their commitment to welcome our summer interns.

The interns were also able to compete for a few prizes during their outing. Taylor Ostermann from Stateline won Men’s Longest Drive, and Hannah Bernhard from Kossuth Regional Health Center won Women’s Longest Drive. Rebecca Wilson of Kossuth Regional Health Center came out as the winner for Women’s Longest Putt, while Blake Gjerde from StateLine Cooperative had Men’s Longest Putt. The prize for highest team score went to Mallary Wegener and Jennie Greene of Smithfield Hog Production’s team, and the prize for lowest score went to Ethan Mino, Taylor Ostermann and Josiah Beenken from StateLine Cooperative’s team.

Area Businesses throughout the county have contributed $100 to sponsor a hole. They are as follows: Central Financial Group, Deitering Brothers, Inc., Farmers & Traders Savings Bank, Farmers State Bank, Iowa State Bank-Algona, Iowa Trust and Savings Bank, Motor Inn of Algona, Pharmacists Mutual Companies, PMC Advantage Insurance Services, Inc., Protein Resources, Inc., Sbemco International, Inc., and Smithfield Hog Production.
