As you plan to write and submit a Kossuth County Foundation grant application, it is important to know some application basics. The following points provide answers to some common questions:
What's the process for submitting an application?
The application process is really fairly simple. Once you have identified your need or project, review the Areas of Grantmaking to determine whether or not your idea falls under KCCF guidelines.
What are the procedures for making a grant application?
Please refer to the Kossuth County Community Foundation website at www.kossuthccf.org for grant information and application forms.
How long until an award is made?
The Kossuth County Community Foundation reviews all grant applications very soon after the deadline, and grant awardees are usually notified within six to eight weeks. A grant awards ceremony will then be held several weeks later. You will be notified by mail if your grant application was successful. Good luck!
2012 Grant applications must be postmarked by January 13, 2012
