Our volunteers are the greatest testimony to the power of Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation. As you can see the continued movement toward supporting economic development has been on the rise since 1999. These hours were donated to help improve the business climate of Kossuth County. Many of these hours were from employees of local companies who sacrificed their own financial gain for the betterment of Kossuth County. The chart below demonstrates the power of a volunteer in terms of payroll savings. The 2007, 2008, and 2009 dollar amounts are based on hours donated calculated at a modest $20.00 - $80.00 per hour. In previous years, the formula was $15.00 - $75.00.
